Aloha Dinah! I have used the SwimEQ workbook a few times. It bought back memories of my own experiences at the swim camp. I think it is well written, brief and to the point. It addresses the emotional stressors that the swim evokes in most triathletes. The workbook gives advice on how to calm the nerves and be productive in these situations. Its a simple concept that we all can visualize with the stop light analogy. It should be required reading before swim camp/tri training to increase swimmer awareness of how cognition can be influenced and sabotage performance.
