Video does not lie.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I met with a new swimmer &#8211; new to swimming and new to the studio.\u00a0 In this first meeting we\u00a0looked at improving stability of the body, and creating a more harmonious relationship with the water. Here is the approach we took:<\/p>\n<p>1. When hanging from gravity in the wobbliness of water, <em>the human body can be stabilized<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimal distribution of body weight, eliminating unnecessary tension and removing innate human instincts are key to giving the body stability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. <em>The water is forgiving<\/em> when the body is stable.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shaping the body in the most hydrodynamic way gives the water less reason to display unforgiving turbulent tantrums.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3.
